Within minutes of capturing this photo less than a block away from the gallery (on Fairfax and Rosewood), Ed stood outside the gallery and prevented 6 looters from trying to break into the gallery, a couple of whom lunged at him with weapons… and used nothing else but his words to convince them all to not break into Ewkuks… until flash grenades were literally being shot towards him by the police. A foolish decision his mother reminds him he made constantly, protecting irreplaceable art is something Ewkuks takes to heart, literally.
