“Pleasure Control” – Natasha Lillipore’s first Solo Art Show draws from her inspiration of nostalgia, sexuality, and self-perception to blur the lines between fantasy and reality to bring the viewer to ultimately connect with their higher self. Focusing on self-reflection and self-discovery, Lillipore paints extensions of herself, drawing inspiration from her childhood and her fascination with debauchery always lingering in the shadows indirectly throughout her life. Her life experiences have led Lillipore to present her characters as strong women showing their vulnerability to the masses.
Recognized throughout the world, Lillipore’s iconic artistic style stems from her identifiable color palette and shading techniques. Each of her pieces allow the viewer to reflect on their own life experiences to create stories for her strong women characters’ past, present, and future dreams.
Natasha Lillipore is a full-time self-taught Artist and Designer. Though art has always been a big part of her life, Natasha started pursing art full-time professionally since 2015. In 2016, Lillipore painted her first mural, and has since travelled and painted larger than life walls across the country as well as internationally in Canada, Dubai, and more. In addition, her talent and skill has landed her projects with clients such as Coach, Nike, and Rihanna's Fenty x Puma. Lillipore has also collaborated with NYX Professional Makeup, creating the palette and artwork on the packaging for their Winter 2018 Full Holiday Collection. In addition, Lillipore has worked with Topshop at Nordstrom to create an emoji keyboard for their holiday campaign. Lillipore has been featured in global publications such as Nylon, Elle Girl Japan, and V Magazine.
